Will its Wimbledon season... and what better to do than play a few games of Tennis... but not the crappy kind where you have to play outside and i can never get it over the net... no what i mean is a few games of Virtua Tennis 4 on the Xbox 360... anyway everyone is either in bed or not in my house... so i scowl Xbox Live for challengers...

MATCH REPORT - Seppi wins the first game... and then the second... without me even scoring a single point... he had a few great Aces... aswell as a cheeky wee shot which was a very low serve!!!

Well that was an embarrassment... hopefully my next game ill actually win a point!!!

MATCH REPORT - Well set one went exactly the same as the last game... but i did actually get a point in this one... then when it comes to the second game i start pulling myself together... and somehow i win the game... how??? im not quiet sure... but hey who cares... anyway i lose the next set... and once again come back and win another set setting up the tie breaker!!! And before i know it im 6-2 down and its match point... but i dug down deep... and leveled it to 6-6... and from this point i kept having to fight his match points... it was one after another... my ass was on the line... finally i string a few points together and i have my first match point... and yes (As i fist pump the air) i did it... i won!!!

Well a win and a loss from my first two games... and i will be back for more of this game... it was rather enjoy and id like to thank my challengers... firstly M1LLWALL BOY for being so crap that i beat him (im only joking!!!)... and to X Magpie Blue X for giving me a real challenger... i will be looking a rematch down the line!!!

Artemis Beartrappe Euro 2012 Fantasy Football League (Day 21)

Well tonight was a surprise... the Italians are through to the final to play Spain at Germans expense!!! It was a rather interesting match... the Italians came straight for it... and well i actually fancy them against the Spanish in the final... so it could be a real good match... and i thought Pirlo was excellent once again!!! So what does this do to the table... not much to tell you the truth... a few points were either gained or lost by each team... and its gonna take a miracle for Beth to lose this now... but stranger things have happened!!!

Well the weather in Belfast is horrendous!!! Flash floods... it ain't good... and the fecking tv keeps going off... but i got to watch the extra time and penalties after getting back from work... and it was real tense... i heard it wasn't much of a game... but the penalties where great... and so it is Spain who makes their way to the final at the expense of Portugal!!! And well it left the table looking very interesting... well as usual... Bethany is top... and well i think the victory is in the bag... her team is looking far too strong... Chantelle is still going strong after her poor start but i still think i can catch her... else where everything else is pretty much the same... exactly Daniel is bottom... i wonder what will be his excuse... anyway tomorrow night we will find out what the final will be... its looking interesting... and well im looking forward to it... it should be a great game between Germany and Italy!!!

Well its transfer time once again... well the quarter rejects are out... and im going with two surprise choices and one player i expect to play the final!!! Im not sure many people expect Portugal to get to the final... but they could upset Spain... first Pepe is a beast and is easy points... while Postiga is a bargain... he has played all games... and scored a few points too!!! And the other pick is Schweinsteiger... who is a legend!!! Anyway this is the last transfer window... and hopefully these changes will help me charge to the top of the table!!!

FIFA - Taking on the World (Part 1)

Well ive decided to take on the world in FIFA 12... i got the bug from playing the competition... so whos out there who fancies a game... but while i wait for a challenge i go searchong for one in the FIFA Lobby... and i find a match up...

Nani scores excellent well passed goal on 18 minutes... but Suarez equalises after 28 minutes after great ball by Forlan for him to head it in... end to end stuff... i should of been up by half time but neither the less its one each...  i have a horrible time one keeping hold of the ball then clearing it... and after a mistake i let Ronaldo in to score a goal... i should of scored a couple more but the ball seemed like it was stuck with super glue to Suarez feet!!! But it ended that way... this guy challenged me hard... but after the first goal i thought i could be on the end of a whooping... but i found my game... but if im hnest it should of been a higher scoring game because of all the great chances we wished each!!!

WWE 12 (Part 2)

So after yesterdays fun... me and Beth decide to have another bash at WWE 12!!! So without further a do... its time... for the main event... the following contest will be a Tornado Tag Match... and set for one fall... Introducing first...

Weighting in at a combined wait of 377lbs... its KOFI KINGSTON & EVAN BOURNE... AIR BOOM!!!

And their opponents... weight in at a combined weight of 456lbs... ALEX RILEY & THE MIZ!!!

MATCH REPORT - Well I was AIR BOOM... while Beth was ALEX RILEY & THE MIZ!!! It was a very even match... close fall after close fall... and we saved each of our partners time after time... Beth used alot of ground and pound... while i went for the more high flying route... it would of been a great match to view... but after hitting Trouble in Paradise... it was all over!!

Artemis Beartrappe Euro 2012 Fantasy Football League (Day 17)

Well its the last Quarter Final... England and Italy... and the winner will take on Spain in the semis!!! And after the full ninety... it was extra time... and unfortunately it looks like its going to penalties!!! And my heart was in my mouth when  Italy scored... but phew it was offside!!! And in typical style... we go to penalties... and this isn't looking good for England... they have only ever won one shoot out... but Italy only two penalty shoot outs they have had they have lost... so this will be interesting!!! But once again England are failures on penalties!!! But because of the clean sheets for both teams there were some points up for grabs... first for  England ... Glen Johnson (8)... Joe Hart (8)... Steven Gerrard (2)... Andy Carroll (3)... Ashley Cole (5)... And the Italians ... Federico Balzaretti (5)... Andrea Pirlo (10)!!! So at the top Beth still leads... while Chantelle cuts the defecated by 2 points... but 25 points is a massive lead... i pull into third place on my own now... and Neil starts making a charge up the ranks from eighth to sixth... its transfer time... can anyone get those vital players who are cheap that will score points that no one else will have???

MATCH REPORT - Great match between Me (Husky Harris)... Natalie (Dolph Ziggler)... Bethany (John Cena)... a good even match... Bethany took the early advantage with her ruthless aggression... but she so turned her attention to Natalie... but while she was doing that i was doing what im good at... GETTING WEAPONS!!! This match soon turned nasty... chairs... kendo sticks... steel steps... and it was me who did the early damage ith the weapons... we all had our finishers at one stage... me and nat used ours on Beth... but as i pinned Cena... Natalie broke it up... now to think of it that happened a few times... we soon started brawling and when Beth got in the mix once again i had knocked Natalie out allow Beth to hit the AA... she pinned me one... two... three... and became the WWE Champion!!! But that bet will be mine... i promise it!!!

Artemis Beartrappe Euro 2012 Fantasy Football League (Day 16)

So Spain defeated France today... and well there were loads of points scored... Andres Iniesta (5)... Gerard Pique (8)... Sergio Ramos (7)... Iker Casillas (8)... Cesc Fabregas (5)... Fernando Torres (3)... Pedro (3)... and only me... Beth and Chantelle had the main man who scored a ton of points... well 20... his name you ask... Xabi Alonso!!! Well in the league... Beth hs had her lead cut to 27 points... which is still a massive gap... and Chantelle continues her great run and looks to secured her place in second... but i have finally caught up on Damo... we are currently joint third... it looks like Natalie and Thompson will battle it out for fifth place... while at the bottom there is only two points in it in the bottom three... who will leave with the wooden spoon??? Big game tomorrow... Italy Vs England... come on big Andy score me some serious points!!!

Well tonight was the second semi final... and what a match it was... not too good for me i was expecting a clean sheet for Germany... which would of got me a shit load of points... instead i lost points... and worse than that i lost positions in the table... i went from third to fifth!!! At the top Beth keeps up her lead... and its Chantelle who also continues her push to the top... she is second now... at the end of the first round of matches you would of thought she would of been out of it... but shes right back in the mix... tomorrow should be another good day fr points... but im not going to hold my breath!!!

FIFA 12 - Playing the Champ!!!

Well after the great FIFA competition last night me and the champion Sheep decide to have another game of FIFA after watching the Germany and Greece match... I decide to be Germany... while Sheep is Croatia!!!

And well it was a lot more entertaining than our match last night... saying that now i gave away two penalty's... both times where stupid mistakes that didn't need to be done... and they were both put away by Luka Modric... typical Sheep scoring with his Spurs man!!! But i didn't feel to bad after he scored a great header after tearing my defence apart with Mandžukić!!! Anyway the score finished 3-0... and well before i ask... i mean demand a rematch he is off to meet his girlfriend Crissy... PUSSY!!! Anyway it was a good we game... and i will get my revenge on him for it!!!

MATCH 17 - SWEDEN Vs CROATIA
Ash making some great saves... but it doesn't stop him being down by half time... and surprisingly for Ryan a different player each time!!! After half time another one scored by a different player then Ibrahimovic cracker!!! Then a load more... Ryan hit form at worst time!!!

Daniel needs a good name... but mark takes an early lead... brilliant!!! Still up at half time can he hold on??? Pen to Daniel and he slots it away... tense end to match!!!

I need to win by 8 to win the leave... anyway Great match... real battle but in the 73th minute my nemesis Rooney scores a great header... and as much as I try that's how the match ended!!!

Mark takes early lead with Iniesta... then while I'm out for a smoke its two!!! Mark is able to hold out in second half for the win!!!

Final game... Daniel needs to win by seven to go third... Ash gives away a silly goal by passing straight to Lewandoski!!! Then gives away a penalty... half time next Daniel still needs five goals... ash is packing out the skill passes... but Daniel gets a cracker of a goal with Obraniak!!! Ash really playing some samba footy!!! But not enough to come fourth!!!

Well there we have it... the final standings... so Sheep finished top... which i always expected... then Mark  was second... just may i add... is was third by goal difference... then Burns beat Daniel into fourth by goal difference... and then it was Natalie... and Ashley is bottom!!! Anyway it was a really fun league... but the only down bit was Daniel... he finished off by saying surprise surprise who's top... well yeah it helps having a good team... but if you didn't realise Daniel i was up there as well... anyway screw him and his negativity!!!

Well its time for the first Quarter Final today... Portugal vs Czech Republic... and its Ronaldo who steals the show... which helps Beth secure her lead to 26 points... she is gonna be hard to beat!!! Natalie moves up as well... she could be one to look out for... anyway tomorrow we have Greece Vs Germany... we could see a ton of goals in that match aswell as a lot of points up for grabs!!!

Two nil up at half time for sheep... but Nat can't do much but still good result for her!!!

This game is all centre of the park... but Daniel breaks the dead lock with a great goal... still one up half time comes... can sheep get back in... and he does with a great goal from bent... while makes Daniel livid!!! Then a great ball by sheep for bent to score to make it two one... and that gives him the victory!!!

Well things have got interesting... well if i have any chance of winning the league... well i have to one... beat sheep... and two score nine goals to have a better goal difference... Daniel has a chance to push up the table if he wins his two remaining games... while the best Burns can hope for is third... maybe Natalie can move up a place or two... well anything can happen... i can;t wait to find out!!!

Well finally Ashley has arrived... the pizza has been eaten... and now its time to get on with the next fixtures... and there are some crackers coming up now!!!

MATCH 6 - CROATIA Vs SPAIN
Early goal by Torres then one by Silva... half times comes and it could of been a lot worse... Ash made some great tackles!!! Torres scores after the break... then a cracker by Iniesta!!! Mark should of scored a lot more goals... and it was a rather good showing by Ash especially with it being his first game ever of FIFA!!!

Match 7 - CROATIA Vs ENGLAND
Big scoring match... but that was never not on the cards... Rooney gets one early on... but then the miss of season by Darren Bent!!! But Lennon scores... and scores again moments later!!! After Ash tackles his own keeper Roo scores for his second!!! Half time Sheep is four up... but gets worse for Ash when Sheep gets Hart to score... that's right his keeper... then Parker scores... then Hart again... can his keeper get a hat trick? Too easy for Sheep!!! There should of been a load more if Sheep decided to use his keeper more than anyone else!!!

Good even match Daniel scored early on but I came back with a great one on one goal with Gekas!!! Final score is one each. He wouldn't even shake my hand... he is a real bad loser... then basically said he couldn't do anything else because i have 5 at the back... if i remember correctly... Burns beat me already and i was using exactly the same formation... i think he is in a huff now!!!

Great start by Ryan... Nat thought play had stopped because of whistle on the laptop... good even game... half time nil nil... Nat comes out strong and Ryan has to be on top for to stop a great shot... Ryan misses a sitter after going past keeper...  gets worse when Olsson gets sent off... but is able to hold out for the draw!!!

Nat starts strong... three nil up at half time... Nat goes crazy and runs out with keeper but ash gets ball but it goes wide!!! Good game for Nat for first win!!! Natalie has started to hit a bit of form now... and she needs it with the big games she still has to play!!!

Well this was a great match... I got two early goals with Gekas... but mark comes gets one back with Silva... great good match best I've had so far... was getting worried at the end... but i felt like i should of scored a lot more!!!

Artemis Beartrappe Euro 2012 Fantasy Football League (Transfers)

Well its minutes before transfer deadline day once again... and ive made some major swaps... first Jakub Wawrzyniak gets taken out and Federico Balzaretti will replace him... but the major swaps are... Wesley Sneijder and Alan Dzagoev are coming out and Spanish midfield duo Xabi Alonso and Cesc Fabregas will take over there duties!!! I think these two are fantastic players and i expect them both to get all the way to the final which means i have more chance of getting more points... but thats just in theory... anyway lets sit back and enjoy the quarter finals!!!

Well its time... everyone has arrived except for Ashley... the pizza is ordered so lets get this competition on the go!!!

MATCH 1 - GREECE Vs SWEDEN
Real good game... I had two great shots early on and I should of scored... got to half time 0-0... half way through second half I get fouled in penalty area but Gekas misses penalty... and in injury time Ryan scores from a great cross with Ibrahimovic... was a great header... and that's it game over!!!

MATCH 2 - SPAIN Vs ENGLAND
Sheep comes out strong and Rooney scores early after hand ball from penalty spot... Sheep stays strong right up to half time... but Mark comes out strong in second half... and should of had a penalty... but wasn't given... and straight to the other end sheep scores with a great goal with Ashley Young!!!
Sheep has been on great form could be hard to stop!!!

Good game... real close... many chances... I had a great goal with some Greek!!! I had to save a shot off the line I thought it was gonna be a draw after that!!! But was able to hold out for win!!!

After taking ages waiting for Daniel to set up camera angle we begin... then stops to do his controller buttons... more excuses!!! The hand ball by Daniel and  Ibrahimovic slots it away... then more complaints about controller!!! Half time Ryan is one up... but Daniel comes back and scores one... this match is tight!!! Daniel does another hand ball but misses but minutes later  Ibrahimovic scores a great goal!!! Ryan handles and Daniel scores. Three penaltys in this match... Ryan goes for win after freekick with goal keeper but it could of went all so wrong!

Right well ive just found out DJ isn't coming... therefore Sheep will be the next and final challenger to pick his team... he comes down and straight away he picks a team... please be Republic of Ireland... please... he opens the piece of paper to reveal....

ENGLAND!!! Right of the bat can i say Sheep is my favourite to win this... he has a great team... and i see no weaknesses in his squad... and im also expecting some high scoring matches with him in it... so my prediction is Sheep will be the champ by the end of the match... but im sure a few of the challengers have something to say about that!!!

Next person to choose is another of my work colleagues Ashley Hunter... he is an unknown package... I've never seen him play FIFA so this could be interesting... anyway he digs deep into the polly pocket and pulls out...

Croatia!!! Bad luck there... with the teams left in you expected him to pull a cracker out... so the best teams are still in!!! I don't like Ashs chances with this team... if he had got a better team he would of had a chance!!! The key player for him is Spurs man Luka Modric!!! Anyway even with him i expect Ash to finish in the bottom two but i hope he proves me wrong!!!

Well its day 12 and Beth is still showing her dominance... still with a 28 point lead on Damo... but further down the table things are starting to look more and more interesting!!! Chantelle has pushed herself right up into 4th place the highest she has been yet!!! She is only 7 points behind me and her latest run of form is starting to get me worried!!! But its transfer time and i have several big players up my sleeve im going to bring in... so keep an eye for that!!!

X Box 360 FIFA Challenge (Warm Up Match)

Well its the eve of the eve of the big competition... and well to get a bit of practice in i take my daughter Bethany on in a game of FIFA 12... Well to get me ready for the tournament i decide to be Greece... might as well get used to playing with them!!! Beth herself decides to be Brazil... one because she said they have a nice badge.... and secondly i told her to tell me to stop... and being impatient she said stop after changing it a couple of times!!! Anyway it game time... i think ive got my tactics sorted so i think ill be using them during the competition... anyway its game time!!!

Well this starts out a real good match... really competitive... i have two really great chances cleared of the line... one after her keeper parried it away her defender cleared it off the line... and the order from a corner which i headed... which was headed of the line in return!!! She even takes me out with a great challenge that stop a break away which i looked certain to score... but i couldnt do much to get past her defence in the first half which stayed that way to the half time whistle!!! Half Time 0-0!!! And the second half ended pretty much the same way... i really couldnt break down her defence... and that was it really!!!

Well it was a pretty good day scoring for everyone... except me... i stayed on exactly the same points... while everyone moved up... Beth extended her lead at the top... a massive 21 point gap between her and Damo!!! I myself am 35 points behind Beth which isn't looking to good... i really could do with Andy Carrol scoring me a hat full tomorrow if i have a chance to move up... anyway things are getting exciting... stay tuned for more updates!!

Marky Mark is the next person to select a team... and as soon as he came into work this morning i surprise him with the polly pocket... he dips in and pulls out...

SPAIN!!! I think this is the first time ive ever seen Mark in a happy mood on a Monday morning!!! Well what can i say about the Spanish team... well they are excellent everywhere!!! This has to make Mark one of the favourites already... with three more teams to pick will anyone else get a team on the same standard as Mark???

Well after having a lead Bethany takes over me again all thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo and his 18 points... what a git!!! Natalie fecked up by transferring him out of her team... but anyway Bethany has a 25 point led... and well its not looking good... else where Reb is still stuck to the bottom but only points of Neil who started strongly and now has started to fade to the back!!! But its Damo who is starting to make a push for the top and looks like he will be the good outside bet!!! Anyway tomorrow is Group C and there should be a hell of a lot more points scored then... let the excitement begin!!!

Well as I dandered home from the shop after allowing Ryan to pick my team... i decide to call in on Daniel Lowry... anyway i get to his door and ring it and surprise him with the polly pocket... i hope the god he doesn't pull out one of the big 3... anyway he digs in and opens his team... before showing me he asks if he can have another one... of course i tell him where to go... and he then reveals hes got...

Poland!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha... not looking so good now are we Daniel... unlucky... anway the Polish team has a very handy players... Daniel will like the fact her has Arsenal goal keeper Wojciech Szczęsny... but the had threat has to be Robert Lewandowski!!! He is there main goal treat and well id say there best player... but i dont know if this team is going enough to win the league but i still expect Daniel to be up there especially seeing who has been picked already... but saying that their are still some of the big teams in the pot still to be picked... but id still say top three finish for Daniel!!!

GREECE!!! Really... but their shit!!! So what can I say about Greece... well some how they won this competition in 2004? Best player??? No idea??? This could be an embarrassment for me... i dont see myself doing to well with this team... id say near the bottom of the table for me!!!

X Box 360 FIFA Euro 12' Challenge (Team Selection 2)

So its time for another competitor to choose their team... this time it is Ryan Burn who works with me... so i head down to the shop to do some shopping and decide to kill two birds with one stone and get him to choose his team... we head out for a smoke and he picks his team... whos it gonna be???

Thats right Sweden... well they are an average squad with a lot of experience... the key man without a doubt will be Zlatan Ibrahimovic... he has be in prolific form this season with AC Milan scoring 28 goals in 32 appearances!!! He will be key if Ryan plans on winning this league... but as he was telling me he will be practising against Spain from now till Thursday... and i expect Ryan to finish in the top three as i would have to say he is one of the clear favourites!!!

Overall disappointing day... my new midfield is going home... and either you stayed on the same points... or you lost points.... either way crap day... real surprised Russia are going home... but thats football for you!!!

DVD Trivial Pursuit Challenge (Revenge)

This time last week Natalie challenged me at DVD Trivial Pursuit... and yes... she defeated me... but tonight i plan to get some revenge!!! So we set the board up after getting the kids to bed once again... open a couple of bottles of wine and begin the game!!!

I forgot to tell you last time how much a bargain this game... we were at a church BBQ last Friday... and in typical Belfast style... it pissed down... so it was the traditional indoor BBQ... anyway there was a stall that only had like 10 items on it priced at next to nothing... and this game DVD Trivial Pursuit stood out to me... I wanted to expand my board game collect and at £2 i thought to myself this is a steal... so it was purchased and played the night last... but thats enough about that its time to find out how the game went!!!

Anyway the game starts with me winning the roll... and from the start i come straight out of the blocks... answering questions like a bloody encyclopaedic!!! I get the first cheese... and its Sport... which is completely not what i have planned... i planned to leave it till last... but ah well... doesn't matter!!! Both of us are going strong answering question after question... but Natalie fails when it really matters... and thats cheese questions... but i manage to pull it out of the hat and get myself a pink cheese... thats two and two on cheese questions... while Nats luck isn't in she keeps getting cheese after cheese questions wrong... i then get the gossip cheese and so does Natalie... but the only reason she got it is the fact that we've already had that question last time we played!!! But karma is a bitch... because moments later i get her question from last time about Mr Bean!!! Then i get a real easy Music question... and thats it... im the winner... that was a bit too easy!!! Wasn't expecting it too be that easy... the excuses start to come out... she is hungover... boo hoo... anyway a wins a win... if you think you can do better... well im calling you out... lets finish this trilogy next Saturday... me and you and a couple of bottles of wine... and no excuses!!!

Right first up to pick here team for the Euro 2012 FIFA competition is my lovely wife Natalie... and knowing her luck she will be rather jammy and pull out one of the better teams... like Germany or Spain!!!

She sticks her hand and pull a team out of the Polly pocket... yes yes I know very fancy... anyway she starts opening the folded piece of paper... the tension is high... and she gets...

That's right Russia!!! Russia are just like Natalie... underdogs that have a ability to do quiet well in this competition!!! She has some quality players at her disposal... the three main threats are Arsenal midfielder Andrei Arshavin... Spurs striker Roman Pavlyuchenko... and the man that has being tearing it up at the Euros right now Alan Dzagoev!!! At this point im predicting Natalie to finish mid table and hopefully for my sake ill be above her!!!

Well its like Transfer Deadline Day... and to great signings i have made... firstly i have brought in Alan Dzagoev instead of Sotiris Ninis who missed the last match and hasn't been doing much points wish... thats also the reason I got rid of Gregory van der Wiel... he like the Dutch squad has been poor so far... and it looks like they wont be getting through to the next round... so as his replacement i have brought in Philippe Mexes who has been in fine form so far for France... tonight Alan Dzagoev will make his debut and im hoping his form will not disappear and continues scoring at will!!!

My dreams have came true... Andy Carroll came through... and thats why once again i am sitting at the head of the table!!! Its all looking very interesting at the top... while lower down first Chantelle has taken herself off the bottom of the table since the first time since day two... also Daniel was able to string a few points together and start to push to mid table!!! Other the other hand its bad news for Rebecca who has free falled to the bottom of the table... a mixture of none scoring strikers and defenders who are letting too many goals in don't help... but she has the talent in her squad to do well if they hit form!!! So thats the end of the second round of matches in the group stage... 8 more matches to go before we see some teams head home... who is it going to be... its gonna be fun watching to find out!!!

O Fernando Torres... I have nearly forgiven you for all the crap you have been saying about Liverpool... so those 18 points you gave me last night was a start... fair enough you could of scored a ton more but at least thats a start... and at the top of the table its looking very interesting... that gap went from 24 points... to 12 points... now there is only 2 points between me and Beth!!! Torres also help Damo out last night who rocketed into 3rd place... elsewhere everything is much the same... and heading into tomorrow will Big Andy help me out and take what is mine... and that is being top of the table... only time will tell... check back tomorrow for the updates!!!

Once again the German trio comes up trumps again... big shout out to Mario Gomez who helped me earn 18 points tonight!!! He also helped Damo get into the mix once again!!! But all my hard work trying to catch up on Bethany was for nothing all thanks to Nicklas Bendtner!!! Two goals for Denmark... meaning she got 13 points... therefore it means I cut her led from 24 points to 12 points... getting real interested lower down as well... Thompson is hot on my heels so i really need to watch out for him... anyway big scoring points day... and tomorrow with Spain playing Republic of Ireland i can see it being a mega points day... I see a drubbing ahead... and possible mega points for Spanish players... so until tomorrow... take her easy!!!

Its happened again... Alan Dzagoev has striked again... that's another 7 points to his name... so Rebecca moves up a couple of positions... while Beth continues to secure her dominance at the top of the league... her lead now is 24... it could be hard to catch her now!!! Apart from Alan Dzagoev not much else happened points wise... but tomorrow should be a whole different story with the Dutch, Germans, Portuguese and Great Danes players... there should be a hell of alot available and maybe just maybe someone will catch Bethany!!!

Well eight games have passed... the first round of matches at the group stage are finished... and there is also some regret... that's right I fecked up... I really did...  firstly as I said a couple of days ago I was gonna have Alan Dzagoev in my squad but i decided against it... you may also remember I said I would go crazy if another player scored points that I was going to pick... well that player was Andriy Shevchenko and he picked up a whopping 18 points... but no i didnt pick him... what makes it worse is my daughter Bethany picked him... now she has a massive lead!!! Anyway apart from that not much really happened... a few points here and a few points there... nothing to cry home about!!! So round one down... we have a few days wait till the next matches... so its time for some transfers!!!

Its day 3 and things are starting to look interesting... firstly Beth has taken back the lead at the top... thanks partly to Fernando Torres who got booked and lost me a point... well its not all his fault... Andres Iniesta got her 3 points which put her 3 ahead!!! Elsewhere a goal by Nikica Jelavic pushed Thompson into the top three... while points were few and far between for the lower placed teams... with only 20 points between first and last all you need is one stand out player and you'll be right up there!!! Another day tomorrow with a lot of English players picked... could this change the lay of the land???

Summer Time Bowls (Part 4)

Do my eyes dis eve me??? Is that sunshine I see??? It is!!! Am I dreaming??? No!!! Right thats it... its bowls time... and the challenger... Natalie "The Ball & Chain" Aspin!!! Once again we are playing on the shit pit that is our lawn... O but wait... with one new addition... I have actually dug up some soil at the back and made a ditch... yes i know very fancy... anyway we lets get on with this game!!!

First end was easy... I was all over her and managed to get a 3... which is pretty good as instead of 6 bowls each we had four... the next four ends one shot wins each... until it got to the sixth end... i was up the shot but Natalie was able to hit the jack and bring it back for three shots... she is one lucky shit!!! In the seventh end i was able to bring in two shot with some precision bowling... leaving the scores 5-7 to me!!!

In the eighth end Natalie was able to tie the game up 7 a piece before winning the ninth by two clear shots... I had alot of work on my hands... but i had the last shot and i needed to make sure all shots counted... as i went to throw my last shot i was already one shot up and i managed to get another one which left us level!!!

With the scores 9 - 9 we entered the tie end... the jack was bowled close to the ditch... i managed to get several bowls close... and it looked like victory was mine... but Natalie was able to bowl the jack into the ditch on her last shot... and after a quick measure we found out Natalie was the winner and took the game 10 - 9!!! Over all it was a very tight game... and to tell you the truth i am rather disappointed that i wasn't able to pick up the victory... but hey it was fun and i plan to destroy her next time!!!

Artemis Beartrappe Euro 2012 Fantasy Football League (Day 2)

YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! Premature... maybe... but it feels so damn good!!! Firstly I would like to thank my whole team a for pulling out some awesome preformances to send me top of the league... you guys know who you are... but if not big shout out to Manuel Neuer(8), Holger Badstuber(7), Mario Gomez(5), Daniel Agger(8)!!! Well it was a big scoring day yesterday... and not just from me... Natalie earned herself 25 points...  Neil 20 points... which left the table really open... and well im top... did i mention that yet??? The major failure this weekend has to be the Dutch... I think it was only their keeper Maarten Stekelenburg who scored any points for them... and the big name players didn't do what was expected of them... and therefore the real surprise is the Great Danes who scored some great points for your teams!!! But as it turns out the best team to pick players from has to be the Germans... they were solid and my god got loads of points... especially Jerome Boateng who turned out for Neil and Natalie!!! Well Day 2 has been rather interesting... the Spanish play tomorrow and a lot of the teams in this league have their players so some serious points could be gained today!!!

DVD Trivial Pursuit Challenge

Well after a bit of fine dinning tonight... well a Lasagne... the kids are put to bed... and two bottles of vino are being consumed... so now the only choice we have is what to plan as this has come a bit of a tradition on a Saturday evening... and well from the title of this blog I'm sure you can work it out its DVD Trivial Pursuits... and here's the rules for you as well...

• Each player picks a different Cheese collector each.
• Each player takes turns to roll the dice.
• Depending what they land on it could be a question, roll again, or cheese question.
• The question type could be either Sport, Gossip, Threads, Film, TV, Music,
• If it is a normal question and you get it right you roll again.
• If you get it wrong the play passes to the next person.
• All Cheese questions on this game are done on DVD.
• The winner is the person who collects one of each cheeses.

Right we get down to this I get cheese after cheese question wrong... fair enough gossip but the two sports ones where jokes!!! Natalie tries for the orange cheese but fails... unlike me... third time lucky... and im in the lead!!! But Natalie comes straight back with a real easy question about Mr Bean that even Beth would get!!! So its level... Her blue cheese to my orange... then she gets the gossip cheese then another and another... before i know it ive one... and she has five... on the verge of victory... and well im a bit pissed... yes from the booze... and the fact that she is getting some rather easy questions... like questions about Babe the movie... but i have to say some rather funny answers by Natalie... Such as "Which English County won some cricket thing?"... Natalie says ENGLAND!!! Ha Ha Ha Ha!!! Then when its my turn for cheeses i get a Gossip question about Concorde... how the hell is that to do with Gossip... am i missing something here???

Well its match point... all Natalie needs is a sport cheese... and she lands on it... and what a stroke of luck Natalie gets a question i have already answered... and the hilarious thing is... SHE GOT IT WRONG!!! Idiot!!! Then I start to come back and get the pink square with an easy question about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... EASY!!! Natalie continues to fail Sport questions... one after another... even name a golf that we already saw the answer for... have i a chance to win this??? Maybe because i get the TV cheese next... but before i knew it she had the victory in the bag after trying to answer a million sports questions!!!

Well not a bad we game... rather enjoyable indeed... this losing streak seems like it is never gonna end!!! Its also quiet funny to note that somehow i get my self two The Darkness questions... what's the chance of that??? But anyway what will next weekend bring when we open a bottle of wine and chill out to some board games???

So to continue the football related stuff that is going on because of the European Championships... Me Bethany and Natalie decide to have a wee tournament on the XBox 360... the game Kinect Sports - Season One! So we are going to play each other once... and if it is a tie on points the overall champion will be decided on the best goal difference... anyway lets get this bad boy under way!!!

All in all a rather entertaining affair... going into this i thought that this could be easy... but I didn't realise Natalie was so good at this game... she really put me to shame... well she is the current champion... and hopefully she will defend it soon and maybe just maybe I can get some revenge... I may have to do a bit of training if I'm going to get anywhere near the standard of her!!!
