This time last week Natalie challenged me at DVD Trivial Pursuit... and yes... she defeated me... but tonight i plan to get some revenge!!! So we set the board up after getting the kids to bed once again... open a couple of bottles of wine and begin the game!!!
I forgot to tell you last time how much a bargain this game... we were at a church BBQ last Friday... and in typical Belfast style... it pissed down... so it was the traditional indoor BBQ... anyway there was a stall that only had like 10 items on it priced at next to nothing... and this game DVD Trivial Pursuit stood out to me... I wanted to expand my board game collect and at £2 i thought to myself this is a steal... so it was purchased and played the night last... but thats enough about that its time to find out how the game went!!!
Anyway the game starts with me winning the roll... and from the start i come straight out of the blocks... answering questions like a bloody encyclopaedic!!! I get the first cheese... and its Sport... which is completely not what i have planned... i planned to leave it till last... but ah well... doesn't matter!!! Both of us are going strong answering question after question... but Natalie fails when it really matters... and thats cheese questions... but i manage to pull it out of the hat and get myself a pink cheese... thats two and two on cheese questions... while Nats luck isn't in she keeps getting cheese after cheese questions wrong... i then get the gossip cheese and so does Natalie... but the only reason she got it is the fact that we've already had that question last time we played!!! But karma is a bitch... because moments later i get her question from last time about Mr Bean!!! Then i get a real easy Music question... and thats it... im the winner... that was a bit too easy!!! Wasn't expecting it too be that easy... the excuses start to come out... she is hungover... boo hoo... anyway a wins a win... if you think you can do better... well im calling you out... lets finish this trilogy next Saturday... me and you and a couple of bottles of wine... and no excuses!!!
