DVD Trivial Pursuit Challenge

Well after a bit of fine dinning tonight... well a Lasagne... the kids are put to bed... and two bottles of vino are being consumed... so now the only choice we have is what to plan as this has come a bit of a tradition on a Saturday evening... and well from the title of this blog I'm sure you can work it out its DVD Trivial Pursuits... and here's the rules for you as well...

• Each player picks a different Cheese collector each.
• Each player takes turns to roll the dice.
• Depending what they land on it could be a question, roll again, or cheese question.
• The question type could be either Sport, Gossip, Threads, Film, TV, Music,
• If it is a normal question and you get it right you roll again.
• If you get it wrong the play passes to the next person.
• All Cheese questions on this game are done on DVD.
• The winner is the person who collects one of each cheeses.

Right we get down to this I get cheese after cheese question wrong... fair enough gossip but the two sports ones where jokes!!! Natalie tries for the orange cheese but fails... unlike me... third time lucky... and im in the lead!!! But Natalie comes straight back with a real easy question about Mr Bean that even Beth would get!!! So its level... Her blue cheese to my orange... then she gets the gossip cheese then another and another... before i know it ive one... and she has five... on the verge of victory... and well im a bit pissed... yes from the booze... and the fact that she is getting some rather easy questions... like questions about Babe the movie... but i have to say some rather funny answers by Natalie... Such as "Which English County won some cricket thing?"... Natalie says ENGLAND!!! Ha Ha Ha Ha!!! Then when its my turn for cheeses i get a Gossip question about Concorde... how the hell is that to do with Gossip... am i missing something here???

Well its match point... all Natalie needs is a sport cheese... and she lands on it... and what a stroke of luck Natalie gets a question i have already answered... and the hilarious thing is... SHE GOT IT WRONG!!! Idiot!!! Then I start to come back and get the pink square with an easy question about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... EASY!!! Natalie continues to fail Sport questions... one after another... even name a golf that we already saw the answer for... have i a chance to win this??? Maybe because i get the TV cheese next... but before i knew it she had the victory in the bag after trying to answer a million sports questions!!!

Well not a bad we game... rather enjoyable indeed... this losing streak seems like it is never gonna end!!! Its also quiet funny to note that somehow i get my self two The Darkness questions... what's the chance of that??? But anyway what will next weekend bring when we open a bottle of wine and chill out to some board games???
