So tomorrow I actually have a day off... its a miricle... a day off without doing anything... so tonight I think some food and booze is in ordered with my lovely wife... after a lovely meal at L'french resturant (also known as L’Etoile) its straight across the Ormeau Road to The Pavillion... for a few games of Pool... and when we arrive the Republic of Ireland friendly is on... and of course the only table free has to be the one under the projector... its partically in the dark but our confidence is high after slugging back a bottle of wino each!
Down to the first frame... Natalie starts off strong but the poor potting doesn't help the fact that I'm losing... she really keeps kicking my ass... I'm really shit today... but out of nowhere I start to make a comeback... but after snookering myself I manage to set her up on the black and its over... With a si of relief from Natalie she's one up!!! 0-1
The second game starts with a bottle of KOPPARBERG Strawberry & Lime Cider in hand... a bit of Dutch courage I thinks... game two starts of tit for tat... but I get on a great run but contraversal... I hit yelliw but Natalie says otherwise... she's wrong but I give her two shoots anyway... but she doesn't need it as Natalie a gets good run herself... its real close... but I am able to bring it back and win the frame and leave it all square!!! 1-1
Now to the last game of the evening and Nat takes an early lead but I answer that with a great run of potting myself... She fouls and I build up small lead... but Nat comes back but I build big lead but give Nat an opportunity to come back and she squanders it on the last red... I pot the white ball while hers and my shot are behind the line... she has to go down table and manages to hit her ball but blocks my path but somehow i manage to pot it for the win!!! 2-1
At this point we are too blocked to carry on because we would be making fools of ourselves!!! Anyway two wins and a loss ain't bad ill take that anyday... Anyway less blogging... more drinking!!!
